As seasons change and the year draws to a close, we reflect on 2025 — a year in which Yantai Biomedical Group anchored its core industrial development goals, deepened its principal business, and forged ahead with determination. Through solid work and overcoming challenges in new drug R&D, project construction, industry cultivation, and operational services, the Group steadily advanced key initiatives and achieved tangible results. The level of industrial development continued to rise, delivering a truly substantive annual report card.

Breakthroughs in New Drug R&D, Innovation Momentum Continuously Strengthened

Thirty Class 1 innovative drugs from park enterprises obtained 39 clinical trial approvals domestically and internationally, maintaining an absolute leading position in the province in terms of new drug quantity.

The umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell injection independently developed by Bohong Stem Cell received clinical trial approval from the NMPA. This marks the first stem cell drug for rheumatoid arthritis indication in the province and the first stem cell drug clinical trial in Yantai.

The universal CAR-T cell therapy MT027 (targeting B7H3 for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma), independently developed by Maohang Biotech, recently received approval from the U.S. FDA to proceed with Phase II clinical studies.

Lannacheng Biotech’s novel tumor drug injection (¹⁷⁷Lu-LNC1009) received clinical trial approval issued by the NMPA.

Park Construction Completed with Upgraded Quality, Sci-Tech Innovation Platforms Empowered and Efficient

The Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island Park project has entered the phase of completion inspection and acceptance. The first phase has completed property rights registration for 52 single-unit buildings, a 7,200 kWh power expansion, and municipal steam supply testing. The second phase, comprising 34 single-unit buildings, is in the completion inspection stage.

The cell product pilot-scale conversion platform has obtained approval as a regional preparation center and a clinical-grade cell and gene standardized testing platform. The platform’s instruments have been successfully connected to the Shandong Provincial Scientific Research Instrument Sharing Network and have passed the public announcement for the 2025 provincial service industry development guidance fund support project.

The park’s cumulative leased area now totals 184,700 square meters, accounting for 63% of the first-phase leasable area, with the occupancy rate increasing by 6.69 percentage points compared to last year. This year, 21 new enterprises were registered, 9 projects were signed, 4 projects settled, and 7 projects went into operation.

In 2025, Huizhi Grand Hotel’s total annual revenue exceeded 10 million yuan, with a month-on-month revenue surge of 300% from September to December. It received over 10,000 customer visits throughout the year, selling more than 3,600 room nights. The hotel hosted 49 events and banquets, including 6 large conferences of over 300 people, successfully ensuring important receptions such as the Provincial Asset Alliance Conference, and earned high praise from event organizers.
Market expansion efforts were precise: the hotel deeply cultivated the wedding banquet sector, integrating premium wedding resources; collaborated with the Muping District Youth League Committee, Women’s Federation, and Veterans Affairs Office to host the large-scale public welfare event “Veterans Find Warmth, Hand in Hand with Their Soulmates,” effectively boosting brand awareness. It partnered with over 50 travel agencies and was named the “Best Strategic Partner of the Year” by the Yantai Tourism Association. Special projects such as community stalls and summer barbecue festivals were launched, with the first-day livestream gross merchandise volume (GMV) exceeding one million yuan, and hotel occupancy rates surpassing 80% during the May Day holiday and music festival.

Investment Business Steadily Advanced, Capital Empowered Industrial Development

The company set dual goals of revitalizing assets in the biomedical sector and enhancing value. By contributing high-quality factory buildings as equity in Lannacheng Biotech through an innovative model, it broke free from the single income limitation of traditional asset leasing and realized a role transformation from “property manager” to “industrial partner.” At the same time, it precisely deployed over 42 million yuan, investing in premium projects such as Qunfen Special Medical, Haoli Technology, Lannacheng Biotech, and Jiezi Biotech. This not only built a stable, sustainable income source and long-term profitable ecosystem for the company, but also drove the clustering of industrial chain resources through capital empowerment, injecting momentum into the construction of the park as an industrial innovation hub and the high-quality development of the regional biomedical industry.

Enterprise Services Precise and Heartwarming, Escorting Enterprise Growth

In 2025, the Group successfully assisted enterprises in completing the application and recognition of 1 innovative small and medium-sized enterprise, 4 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and 1 Yantai Engineering Research Center. By precisely connecting with policies and resources at all levels, it helped park enterprises secure a provincial key R&D plan (major scientific and technological innovation project) subsidy of 9.9 million yuan, and obtained 1 million yuan from the provincial service industry development guidance fund for the cell product pilot-scale conversion public service platform. It signed cooperation agreements with universities such as Binzhou Medical University and Yantai University, establishing a three-dimensional “master’s/doctoral — bachelor’s — associate degree” talent cultivation and utilization system.

In 2025, Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island successfully hosted the Blue Pharma Valley-Aarhus Agri-Food Park Project Exchange Conference and the opening ceremony of the “Intelligent Rehabilitation and Human-Machine Engineering” academic conference. In April, the “Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island” Youth Commando Team was awarded the title of “Outstanding Youth Commando Team on the City’s Key Industrial Chains.” Blue Pharma Valley · Life Island was recognized among the “Top 30 Most Dynamic Parks in China’s Biomedical Industry.” The Biomedical Group won the “Organizational Contribution Award” at the 10th-anniversary celebration of the China Overseas Returnees Entrepreneurship Competition.

Park enterprises also reported frequent successes. Shandong Qilu Organoid Biobank Co., Ltd. participated in formulating and officially releasing the first international standard for organoid biobanks. Bohong Stem Cell’s “Stem Cell New Drug Development and Translational Application Yantai Engineering Research Center” was recognized as a Yantai Municipal Engineering Research Center. Lannacheng Biotech was successfully selected for the first batch of Yantai’s high-level talent entrepreneurship acceleration camp enterprise list. Huayi Biotech successfully held the launch meeting for the cosmetic PDRN group standard and the plant-derived vesicle group standard press conference. Lannacheng Biotech submitted its listing application to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
